About Us
Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Uttar Pradesh (ABVMUUP) is a state collegiate university in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh (India). It was established in 2020 by Uttar Pradesh act no. 42 of 2018 passed on 22nd December 2018, and is giving affiliation to all government and private Medical, Dental, Nursing and Paramedical colleges in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
The act came into force on 15th October 2020.
No college or institution in the State of Uttar Pradesh imparting education in Medical Sciences or Dental Sciences or Degree Courses in Nursing and Para-Medical disciplines shall be affiliated with any other University and the sanction of the Government, be associated in any way with or seek admission to any privileges of any other State University.

To be one of the best medical hub for providing comprehensive teaching, training and research to all health care workers.
Mission
To serve the society by providing adequately trained manpower which can cater to the health needs, beginning from prevention to primary care to tertiary care.
